| Prof., Filippo Sanfilippo |
Filippo Sanfilippo holds a PhD in Engineering Cybernetics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway, with a focus on intelligent control approaches for robotic manipulators. His research interests include robotics, wearables, human-robot teaming, artificial intelligence, and control theory. He is currently appointed as a Professor at the Faculty of Engineering and Science, University of Agder (UiA), Grimstad, Norway. He is also an adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Informatics, Kaunas University of Technology, Kaunas, Lithuania. He is also the Director of Science at Twilligent AS, a company that is at the forefront of creating intelligent digital twins to visualise, simulate and optimise the operation of complex facilities, production lines and processes. He carries a vast experience in participating in European research programs and various national projects from the Research Council of Norway (RCN). He is the former Chair of the IEEE Norway Section. He is also the Chair of the IEEE Robotics and Automation, Control Systems and Intelligent Transportation Systems Joint Chapter. He is currently a member of the IEEE Region 8 Chapter Coordination Committee. He is a Member of the IEEE Public Visibility Committee, of the IEEE R8 Awards & Recognitions (A&R) Committee, and of Professional and Educational Activities. He is also the Treasurer of the Norsk Forening for Kunstig Intelligens (NAIS), the Norwegian Association for Artificial Intelligence. He has authored and co-authored several technical papers in various journals and conferences. He is a reviewer and/or editor/co-editor of several international conferences and journals.

Yongping Pan is a Professor with the Sun Yat-Sen University, Shenzhen, China, and a Visiting Professor with the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He hold a Ph.D. degree in control theory and control engineering from the South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China, and has over ten years of research experience in top universities in Singapore and Japan. His research interests lie in automatic control and machine learning for robotics. Dr. Pan is currenlty serving as the Chapter Chair of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society Guangzhou Section and an Associate Editor of several top-tier journals published by IEEE and IFAC. He has served as an Organizing Committee Member of four international conferences, the Lead Guest Editor of four special issues in reputable refereed journals, and the Lead Workshop Organizer of the IEEE Conference on Decision and Control. He received the Best Automation Paper Finalist at the International Conference on Robotics and Automation, the Best Conference Paper Award at the International Conference on Control and Robotics, and the Best Conference Paper Finalist at the IEEE International Conference on Advanced Robotics and Mechatronics. Furthermore, he has been recognized as a Global Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate, a Most Cited Chinese Researcher by Elsevier, and a World Top 2% Scientist (both single year and career) by Stanford University.

Dr. Shashikant Patil is working as a Full Professor in UGDX/ISME at ATLAS SkillTech University, Mumbai. He is a Senior Member of ACM & IEEE, Fellow Member of the Institution of Engineers India (FIE), IETE India (FIETE), IBE India (FIBE), and ISDS Japan (FISDS). With 25 years of varied experience in research, training, and teaching, he received the "Best Researcher Award 2014" from SVKM's NMIMS Shirpur. His research interests include Signal Processing and Imaging, with over 80 publications in conferences and journals. He is an IEEE Designated Reviewer, TPC Member for over 450 international conferences like ICASSP, MMSP, ICME, and ICIP, and a potential peer reviewer for Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, IEEE, InderScience, Taylor & Francis, and Hindawi journals. He has served as Editor-in-Chief for the IEEE C-RFID Newsletter, Editorial Board Member of IEEE SDN, Managing Editor of the IEEE SDN Newsletter, and IEEE RFID Steering Committee Member. He has won awards for Best LinkedIn Profile and Best Paper. In the past, he was a member of the IEEE RFID Council, Vice President (Membership Services), IEEE Panel of Editors for Newsletters and Journals member, and has served as an SIG Member of IoT. Vinayakumar Ravi is an Assistant Research Professor at Center for Artificial Intelligence, Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University, Khobar, Saudi Arabia. His previous position was a Postdoctoral research fellow in developing and implementing novel computational and machine learning algorithms and applications for big data integration and data mining with Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, Cincinnati, OH, USA. His current research interests include applications of data mining, Artificial Intelligence, machine learning (including deep learning) for biomedical informatics, Cyber Security, image processing, and natural language processing. He has more than 100 research publications in reputed IEEE conferences, IEEE Transactions and Journals. His publications include prestigious conferences in the area of Cyber Security, like IEEE S&P and IEEE Infocom. Dr. Ravi has receieved a full scholarship to attend Machine Learning Summer School (MLSS) 2019, London. He has organized a shared task on detecting malicious domain names (DMD 2018) as part of SSCC'18 and ICACCI'18. He received the Chancellor's Research Excellence Award in AIRA 2021 and his name was included in the World's Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University published in PLoS Biology.

Qingsheng Zeng received his Ph.D. from University of Ottawa, Canada, and is currently a professor and PhD advisor of Université du Québec an Outaouais (UQO), an adjunct professor and PhD advisor of University of Ottawa, Carleton University, and Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique -- Centre Energie, Matériaux et Télécommunications (INRS-EMT). He has been a research engineer and a senior research engineer at Communications Research Centre Canada (CRC), Government of Canada. Dr. Zeng has undertaken research and teaching in several fields, including analysis and design of aircraft antennas, electromagnetic compatibility and interference (EMC/EMI), ultrawideband technology, radio wave propagation, computational electromagnetics. He has published more than 200 SCI and EI indexed papers and technical reports, authored one book and co-authored two book chapters. His work on the project “Aggregate Interference Analysis and Suitability of Some Propagation Models to Ultra-wideband Emissions in Outdoor Environments” has formed one part of Consultation Paper on the Introduction of Wireless Systems Using Ultra Wideband Technology, Spectrum Management and Telecommunications Policy, Industry Canada, and has been taken as a significant contribution to International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

After graduation, he worked for Silicon Valley Semiconductor Company and network equipment company. In 2021, he was selected into Xi 'an Jiaotong University's "Young Top Talent Support Program."

He was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Vision from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Prof. Huiyu Zhou currently is a Full Professor at the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, University of Leicester, United Kingdom. He has published over 400 peer-reviewed papers in the field. He was the recipient of the "CVIU 2012 Most Cited Paper Award ", “MIUA 2020 Best Paper Award”, and “ICPRAM 2016 Best Paper Award”. His research work has been or is being supported by UK EPSRC, ESRC, AHRC, MRC, EU, Royal Society, Leverhulme Trust, Puffin Trust, Alzheimer’s Research UK, Invest NI and industry.

He also serves as the director of the IEEE New Sensing and Monitoring Technology Sub-Committee, and has won the Youth Medal of State Grid Chongqing Electric Power Company, the Outstanding Communist Party Member of State Grid Chongqing Electric Power Company, and the Youth Supporting Science and Technology of State Grid Company 2022 (a total of 50 people nationwide were selected as Chongqing Young Outstanding Talents in 2021).
